The Shoot Process:
Initial Consultation:
Every shoot begins with the initial phone consultation (in-person pre-shoot consultation available by request). During the initial consultation, we will discuss your ideas and vision for your shoot. I will ask questions that will help me plan a shoot that will bring your ideas and vision to life. It's also your opportunity to ask me all the pertinent questions that will help you to perform your best.
Day of Shoot:
The day of the shoot I will be in contact with you one hour before the shoot to go over last minute details and to be sure that you do not forget any important items that your will be bringing to your shoot. Before you go into make-up and wardrobe, we will do a quick 10 minute warm-up shoot. We will take about 30 practice frames that we can quickly preview and discuss. The will help give us a quick assessment of your angles and ability to express facial expressions and body language. This will give you time to think while you're in make-up. Plus, as mentioned earlier, this will help to warm you up to the shoot and help you perform better. During actual shooting, we will pause after 30 frames to once again gain a quick assessment on the progress of the shoot. We will preview those 30 frames together on the computer screen (better for seeing details as opposed to the LCD on the camera) and look for areas that need adjustment and/or improvement. After previewing, we will then proceed with shooting the remainder of your frames for that look. This process is repeated for each look that your doing.
After Completion of Shoot:
After we conclude the shoot, you will be given the opportunity to preview all of your images at which point you can select your choices.
Turn- around Time:
The turn-around time for online proof galleries to be available for previewing is usually 24-48 hours, but no more than 48. The turn-around time to receive your finished selected images can be anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks depending on number of photos and complexity of job. Usually it's no more than 2 weeks.
